I have decided to make a review on Squarespace, a website building site, which offers a domain.
I went onto the home page of the site, and was pleasantly surprised. Everything validated, and it even had an AI search bar that allowed you to look up domain names.
I navigated to products, and clicked on Find a Domain. This also offered the same AI search, but scrolling down also gave information with visual CSS gifs to demonstrate. The page validates, and looks sleek.
Searching for domain names is quite easy, as you are allowed to look up and see what names are available. If I were to make a website for my Father's tree business, I'd probably go with the domain name "twin-city-trees.com"
As mentioned above, the first option would be "twin-city-trees.com", as that is available and is the name of my Father's business. As for two other available options that I'd maybe use, "twin-cities-trees.com" and "twintowntrees.com" would also work for the business.
Squarespace has an amazing design, the home page is spacious, and scrolling down offers much more information which includes a lot of eye candy to go along with the information. A stellar design, 9/10.
The second page is very similar to the home page, with scroll down space that includes some eye candy. However, even ignoring the obvious limitation of the page being obviously smaller, there's much less to look at in general so 7/10.
